HISTORY

The Band "No Comment" Originated in the year 1999 in Johnstown Ohio. Formed by close friends Marshall and Kevin, the group originated as a musical outlet for a couple of friends with nothing better to do. Other than the occasional show, veriaty show, and perhaps talent shows, it was nothing to serious. Then in 2005 the band came across its first serious series of drummers. While none of them lasted too long they helped the band grow in direction. The music became more solid, and more adaptable to playing with others. "No Comment" also began playing for more serious crowds, and bigger Shows. Some shows at venues such as the Newport, and even Traveling as far as to Milwaukee or as close as Columbus and Cleveland for shows.

CURRENT

As of 2010 the band had been together for over 10 years and it was time to go in yet another direction. Matt McKinnon joined on drums, and Marshall's father Tom, who had played with the band on occasion, joined on both Guitar and Steel Guitar. The band is currently working to record new material and play new shows.

STYLE

These shows can be as simple as a short set of original music or a full 4 hour night of cover music from days past and today. "No Comment" is primarily an alternative rock band with styles ranging from Weezer to Nirvana, but also plays a repertoire diverse enough to include Tom Petty, Lynard Skynard, The Beatles, Elvis Costello, and more.
