It is a legit question? After such an epic summer, and so far epic fall where do we go now? Dragon Con is over, we hit Chicago and Pitt for cons, Band of Buds was Epic, so what Next?

Well first maybe the occasional trip through the gallery to remind us of how much fun this summer was, and then over to metro mix and Band of Buds websites to check out the pictures from the casting call.

Then what? Well website updates, new epic costumes, and preping for next year! Watch the site because we will be going to Mid-Ohio Next weekend and R2 should be making his first ever Debut! After that new tutorials, and updates to the site since I will have some time. I will clean up the tutorial pages make them easier to navigate as well as add the toolbox. A lot of people asked what this will be and it will sort of be the costumers index. Details will come soon on that. Other updates that will come will be more regular updates on things in the nerd world we find interesting. So we wont be going around reporting on everything nerdom, but we will take some time to report on things we find interesting and see around the web.

Thanks so much everyone, as apparently we got more votes than they had seen anyone get in band of buds? Or so we were told, but no matter what it is because of your support! We had a blast at the casting call, and wish the winners nothing but the best of luck. We just wanted to thank all who helped the ever go off without a a hitch, and it was a blast.

Well it looks like R2 is going to look way better than I thought he would by Mid-Ohio Con. Sadly I have not had my camera with me when working on him recently, but I did grab some camera phone pics. Not to many updates on the actual prop page, but I uploaded more pictures to the progress galleries so feel free to check them out! Hopefully I will someday have time to actually add more detail as to how I built him to the R2 Version 2 page here soon. At least get it to where I sit in terms of progress today. Anyhow have a great weekend everyone!

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who voted for us during the first stage of our Band of Buds competition. Myself, TK-Bear, Cadet, and Iceman appriciate the support, and have been given the opportunity to participate in the next round of competition. This is the big one that decides if we get to go to Vegas! Keep your finers crossed!

With Every day I get that much closer. I know I will not finish everything I plan on doing for R2 by the time it gets too cold to do much more, but I really hope to get to my own goals. Some of those are finish detailing the legs, make the battery boxes, get him driving again, and maybe......ok a huge maybe.....get R2 going from 2 legs to 3 legs, and back to 2. Who knows but I will give it my best shot.

So I continue to be busy, and it drives me nuts because there are so many updates that I want to make to this site, yet I just cannot seem to get to them. But I would rather be busy than bored, that is for sure. That said I have been trying to get some more R2 progress done before the weather changes too much. I am getting close, and finished a good deal of work on the legs and so forth. There is so much to do, yet so little time. I think this may be my last actual weekend to work on him, so we will see how this goes. See you all later.

So the rest of the gang is on their way out, and we are gonna enjoy some Oktoberfest, go ride a mechanical bull, and work some more on R2. Who knows what else.
